“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Lockdown for us is over! On Monday we all returned back to school and work and although I hate the thought of the boys being there at the moment. It has come at a good time for us. Both Mark and I are keyworkers and up to now I have been on furlough. Demand means I am back to work and thankfully the boys can return to school. Of course, they are not happy with me, they don’t want to be there. I know though, that they will have fun, they will be together and it gives us back some normality. Which at the moment is so needed.

So with that hanging over us all weekend, we wanted to make the most of being together. Saturday, Mark and I celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary so Oliver and I baked cakes. Like, all day! We finished with a Victoria Sponge Cake, A double choc chip muffin loaf, 24 double choc chip muffins and a whole bunch of little biscuits. Oliver has really gotten into baking recently and I love that he wants to help me in the kitchen so much.
The photos this week are just what we have taken over the past few days.

I hope going back to school has been ok for them. It must be so different to the school they are used to. I hope work is ok for you both too x
I hope getting into routine has been ok for you all? Thank you for working hard for all of us to stay safe! #livingarrows
It must be so strange going back to school and work when most of the country is still in lockdown. I hope you’re all coping OK with it all. #LivingArrows
