As a mum I am always finding ways to encourage the boys to get involved when it comes to cooking. I think it is a very important life skill which is never too soon to learn. They really enjoy helping with the cooking making recipes such as pizza bruchettes. When Arty Apple contacted me asking if I would like to review their products I happily accepted their offer. I chose the personalised aprons and could not wait to receive them.
Arty Apple – Who are they?
Arty Apple is run single handed by a mum of 2. I always take my hat off to these ladies who can multitask a business as well as a family and the stresses it may lead too. Amy has 2 children a boy and a girl and they both help their mum in choosing fabrics and keeping her on her toes. Amy’s aim with Arty Apple is to create a truly personal service.
They arrived
When they arrived they were presented in a cardboard box which was stamped with the Arty Apples logo. Within the box the aprons were carefully wrapped in tissue paper sealed with another sticker.
The aprons were presented so lovely in the box you could sense the care and love that went into posting them.
The aprons are made from denim fabric with co-ordinating neck and waist ties. Personalised with the child’s name and with a gingerbread logo. There is also a girls option which features a cupcake and co-ordinating pink neck and waist ties. Priced between £13 (for 2-6years) and £15 for (for 7-13 years) per apron they are an affordable personalised option for a gift. I love the quality of the aprons and personalisation. The boys were all really excited to try the aprons out so off we went to make brownies!
Road Test!
Verdict
I am in love! The boys love their aprons and look forward to wearing them when we cook. They have even started to wear them when they eat their main meals! I would love to see a couple of options to pick from when it comes to the picture design, or maybe the ability to choose an alternative coloured strap. The aprons are a great length and cover the clothes well.
