We were given complimentary lunches at The Lacon Arms as Great Yarmouth Ambassadors

Making the most of our trip to Great Yarmouth we headed to The Lacon Arms for lunch. Just under 15 minutes away from Hirsty’s Family Fun Park and Thrigby Wildlife Park it was the perfect location. Located right by the sea front with it’s own car park, it is easy to access. The carpark is free to use for customers but you do need to collect a ticket from inside to ensure you will not get a ticket. This is to make sure there are plenty of spaces for customers so it isn’t being used by visitors to the beach. There are however plenty of other car parks around the seafront.
The Lacon Arms

The Lacon Arms is a freehouse is owned and operated by Louis, Lyndon and Lorna Bevan. Open daily from 11am onwards, it is a great place to enjoy a selection of delicious snacks, lunches and meals alongside the dessert menu too.
The Lacon Arms has plenty of outdoor seating both at the front of the building and at the back, near their large outdoor play area for children. The Children’s Pirate Boat Adventure Play features a small slide perfect for toddlers, a large bigger slide with curls for older children as well as hidey holes and a rock wall. A great place for children to play whilst the adults can enjoy a cool refreshing drink.

We arrived at The Lacon Arms and was shown to our reserved table. The boys were eager to check out the menu and we were really pleased to see a pretty extensive Vegetarian and Vegan Menu for Oliver. To place your food and drink order you walk to the bar, don’t forget your table number. All main meal orders include a visit to the salad bar. This isn’t applicable to kid’s meals which I think is a shame, however you can add plenty of salad items to share, which is what i did.

The Salad bar had plenty of different salad and vegetable options, from peppers, to lettuce to dressings. and was being topped up and looked after throughout our visit.
The food arrived pretty quickly and looked amazing. Jack and Arthur both ordered the Kid’s Hotdog meal which came with fries and a choice of either beans, cucumber or peas. Oliver ordered tomato pasta and cucumber and all 3 went the kid’s thick milkshakes. I had Hunters Chicken which came with fries and peas.
The food tasted delicious, it came out hot and we had everything we needed. The staff were attentive and made sure we were happy with everything.
We had a lovely positive experience dining at The Lacon Arms and will definetly visit again!
