We are Great Yarmouth Ambassadors and was gifted entry into Hirsty’s Family Fun Park
From the moment you walk into Hirsty’s Family Fun Park you know you are in great hands. Set within the grounds of the working farm, the Family Fun Park is open every school holiday. With over 10 attractions all included in the entry price it is certainly good value for money.
When you arrive you are given a leaflet with activities as well as a page of stickers. Throughout the fun park there are signs to look for to help you complete this which you can then enter into a giveaway. This is just another great way to make the most of your stay here.
We arrived for opening time after a 2 hour journey to Great Yarmouth from Peterborough. The boys were excited as we drove into the large grassed car park and going through the entrance and getting tickets checked was a breeze. As soon as you enter Hirsty’s Family Fun Park you are greeted with a large enclosed play area with so many attractions! In the center is an abundance of picnic tables. Top Tip – I would certainly aim to get a table, as these go quickly!
The size is perfect to allow children free roam whilst you can sit and watch them from afar. Our first stop was the toilets, after 2 hours we were all needing to use them. The toilets are in a mobile outbuilding and there are seperated per gender, there are baby changing facilities as well as a disabled/wheelchair friendly toilet. There are plenty of toilets and were all clean and tidy. We saw staff throughout the day go in and out to stock up and clean, and when we went later in the morning, they were just as clean as when we first used them.
The boys were then eager to go and play, so they went on one of 3 giant trampolines! Each trampoline can take 4 children at a time.
Attractions at Hirsty’s Family Fun Park
Hirsty’s Family Fun Park is full of exciting things to do! The boys enjoyed exploring the huge Maize Maze, even if they got a little bit lost along the way. It was great fun finding our way around and discovering all the different stations inside.

It was safe to say that the boys favourite attraction beside the Maize Maze was the Go Karts. There were plenty available some one seaters as well as 2 seaters and they were all capable of seating adults as well as children. The seats are adjustable so although Arthur the smallest of us, he was able to enjoy going around too.
Hirsty’s Cafe
As well as all the attractions there is also the wonderful cafe. It serves farm-to-fork lunch and snack options and leads onto a large undercover marquee with lots more picnic tables. There is a range of hot and cold options as well as delicious ice-cream and slushies. You are also welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy!
Accessibility
Hirsty’s Family Fun Park I would say is pretty accessible for wheelchair users/pushchairs as well as electric mobility scooters, when the ground is dry. It is all located on a field so when wet I can imagine it could be difficult to navigate. We visited on a super hot day, so the ground was bone dry and I saw plenty of wheelchair users and pushchairs around.
There is plenty of seating around the Fun Park if needed too. Many people were happy to share tables when needed.
