Jack and I share similar taste palates when it comes to food. One of our favourite dishes is Tuna Pasta Bake, we can’t seem to get enough of it. He really enjoys helping me to make it too so I thought I would share our recipe with you. The recipe is really quick and easy to follow too. So pretty much anyone can make it.

Tuna Pasta Bake
So when it comes to Tuna Pasta Bake, Jack and I go a little over the top. We make way too much so it is often what we both take to school/work for lunches. I haven’t added quantities as it would all be dependant on the size of your oven dish. We make enough for our evening meal plus at least a couple of days worth of lunches too.
Ingredients

- Pasta
- Tin of Tuna
- Carton of Tomato Passata / you can use a pasta sauce either shop bought or homemade.
- Cheese (lots of grated cheese)
- Some vegetables! – We mostly use a handful of frozen mixed veg in ours, however we sometimes use a tin of peas and sweetcorn. You could always miss this ingredient if you wanted to aswell!
How to make Tuna Pasta Bake
- Boil the pasta and veg
- Once cooked drain and mix together
- Add the Passata and Tuna into a large mixing bowl and mix together with the pasta and veg.
- Pour the pasta into an oven dish and you can either grill or place into the oven. We add grated cheese to the top of the pasta.

That’s it, really simple and tastes amazing! There is always room for improvement so if you like yours with a bit more flavour then you can add in some basil or parsley. Some recipes use garlic, however I prefer to have garlic bread as an accompaniment and I think too much garlic can be really overpowering too.

Tuna Pasta bake is probably one of my girls favourite meals but I don’t think they’ve ever helped to make it before. They should. It’s so easy to make. We usually skip the peas and just go with sweetcorn. x
I usually make this with a white sauce but will definitely try the passata. Some crushed crisps on the top with the grated cheese is nice.
