Monday Meal Planning – W/c 31st July – The Mum Diaries

     The Mum Diaries      2 Comments

For some reason this week has just felt incredibly long. We haven’t been able to do most of the things I have wanted to do due to having to wait in for deliveries. Oliver was also struck down with a mysterious bug and was sick Friday night. Mark’s dad came down beginning of the week and we had our BBQ too.

One of the things I have noticed since I started meal planning was how often we were eating the same sort of foods. There isn’t much variety in our dishes and this is due to the fact Mark and the boys can be really fussy. I am going to try and introduce a new dish once a week though so fingers crossed! Yesterday was my nieces birthday and my mum had baked a rainbow cake with hidden smarties! It tasted great!

Oh no! I Hope everyone is feeling better soon.
Good luck with the new dishes. I am lucky. My lot will eat just about anything.
We’re making pizza this week too. It’s mainly so I can give the kids something to do. hehehe x

Seeing this post has come at a perfect time as this is something I want to start doing is meal planning!! I too have the issue of fussy eaters but I do have a handful of dishes that everyone likes but I don’t want to be eating the same thing every week so will have to start introducing some new things!

Hoisin chicken noodles are one of our favourite me Hoisin chicken noodles are one of our favourite meals, and it is easy for us to make a veggie alternative for Oliver.

However, we need some more meal ideas to try and change things up. Do you have any suggestions?
