It is Jack’s birthday on Sunday and I am so excited! I still have so much to do but will run out of time to do it! He has asked for a Minecraft cake as his birthday cake. We don’t get back until Friday so it gives me Saturday to unpack and bake a cake as well as shop for his presents. Talk about being last minute! The Meal Plan this week will again pretty much be a camping edition. Last weeks meal plan can be found here.
Meal Plan w/c 14th Aug
Monday
Roast Chicken dinner, we didn’t have this yesterday and I think everyone will need a decent meal before we leave!
Tuesday
I am hoping we will have another BBQ. Mark’s dad is meeting us at the campsite again and rumour has it he is bringing his BBQ!
Wednesday
The boys have requested Spaghetti hoops and sausages. This should be pretty easy to have in the tent. Mark and I will most likely have irish stew from a tin.
Thursday
We are heading to Scarborough Sea-Life Sanctuary so dinner will be chips from the chippy! I really can not wait!
Friday
We should be home today weather dependent. So something like Spaghetti Bolognaise to fill the boys bellies!
Saturday
Sausage, Mash and Peas!
Sunday – Jack’s Birthday
Today is Jack’s birthday and not sure what the plans are for the family yet. Normally we would do hot dogs for guests but it depends on how the cake making would have gone yesterday!
Good luck with the Minecraft cake…You’d think by now with it being so popular supermarkets would sell them. hehehe
