Meal Planning Monday

The boys really enjoyed last week’s meal plan and to be honest, so did I. There wasn’t much left after each meal which is something that makes me happy. There is nothing worse than food waste. I took our grazing platter up a notch, if you follow me on Instagram you would have already seen the photo below. However, all 3 boys and Mark enjoyed munching their way through it.

This week’s meal plan is alot more of your winter warmer meals. Cottage Pie is one of Mark’s favourite meals so he is really looking forward to having that this week. I am looking forward to Toad in the hole. It has been a while since we last had it!

Monday – Cottage Pie
Tuesday – Hot Dog Pasta Bake
Wednesday – Jacket Potatoes and salad
Thursday – Chicken, cheese and Bacon and Wedges
Friday – Takeaway!
Saturday – Toad in the Hole
Sunday – Roast Beef Sunday Dinner

Shopping List

Here is this week’s shopping list. I haven’t included things like flour for the Yorkshire Puddings as we would already have that in. As i have mentioned in previous weeks, this shopping list isn’t indicative of being on a strict budget. We have chosen to “up brand” a couple of the items such as meat. However this week we are going back to bulk ordering from the butchers and back to ordering our fruit and veg again.
