This week’s shopping list is my most expensive so far this week. However as I have a lot of the store cupboards I wouldn’t be spending quite this much. However alot more of our meals this week takes some preparing. Such as our fish cakes, Mark makes them using cooked white fish, mashed potato, egg coating and then frying in the sauce pan. Our pulled Pork follows a Slimming World recipe. Which uses a lot of ingredients!
I know I mentioned last week I was going to try and introduce a new meal to the boys. We have had all these meals before, however Oliver and Arthur are not too keen on the pulled pork, so I want to re-try them with it. The meals will also come with salad or mixed vegetables too!
I am looking forward to our grazing dinner! It is just going to be a basic dinner. Sandwiches, with cocktail sausages, hopefully some left over sausage roll from Tuesdays meal and lots and lots of salad with added pickled onions and Doritos! The boys love this tea!
Our homemade McDonalds will consist of homemade beef burgers and homemade bread rolls. I have also been saving some Lego Mini figures for the occasion too, so they can have their own “happy meal” toy!
