A couple of years back Mark and I bought the boys a puppet theatre. We had been gifted a bag full of puppets and the boys really enjoyed playing with them. For hours they would make their own shows and entertain us with their stories. It was really lovely to watch them playing together. Recently the boys have been showing a renewed interest in the puppet theatre again. So it seemed a logical step to introduce some new puppets. Fox, Badger and Crocodile were sent to us from The Puppet Company and they fitted into the puppet life here and Arthur and Oliver were in their element.

It really didn’t take long for the boys to get together to play with the puppets! In fact since the arrival of our new ones the puppet theatre has had so much more play!

It’s really good to encourage kids to put on shows for parents and friends. Even if they do not go on to a career in show business, performing in front of other people will still stand them in good stead when they inevitably have to make a presentation or give a speech at work or at a function.
