There is something thrilling about the anticipation of waiting for something to happen but hoping it doesn’t. Just like with the table-top Shark Bite from Drumond Park, where you need to collect the fish before the shark bites!
What is in the box?
The game arrived and the boys were all eager and ready to get playing. Jack couldn’t wait to play and commented on how fun the game looks from the picture on the box. There was no real set up required other than placing stickers on the dice and the eyes on the shark. Other than that the shark was already built. One of the great things about the game also, is you do not need to use batteries! To set up the game, open the shark’s jaw wide and push down until it clicks. You then place each fish into the holes in the jaw, push down until it clicks. Then you are ready to play.
Included in the box is;
*12 Assorted fish
*1 Fishing Rod,
*Stickers for the Dice and eyes of the shark
Playing the game,
Once the fish are in place, take it in turns to roll the dice. The dice decide how many fish you are going to attempt to catch either 1 or 3. Using the fishing rod you hook the fish and then pull it out. We found sometimes the shark head would move around and you would have to hold down the bottom of the shark’s head to be able to get the fish out. Once you have completed your turn, you pass the dice and fishing rod to the next player. It is really simple and easy to play, but the thrill of being caught entices you to want to play more!
