Young Heritage Rangers Week @Nene Park – This FREE week-long experience is for young people aged 14 to 17 years old, interested in history, art, nature and the great outdoors.

Autumn Crafts for Children @ Nene Park –Forage for natural flora, beautiful colours and interesting shapes around Ferry Meadows, then get creative turning natural materials into autumnal masterpieces to enjoy at home! Suitable for children aged 5 and over, it’s £5.50 per child.

Archery – @ Nene Park – Unleash your inner Robin Hood or Maid Marian! Our archery sessions are 45 minutes long and take place at Nene Outdoors. Sessions are £12 per person and suitable for ages 8 and over.  We’re also running a Women’s Archery Taster Session and Adults Taster Session on the same date for grown-ups looking to try something new!

Meeting Magical Mammals @ Nene Park – Join a ranger for a walk around Ferry Meadows to discover all about the small mammals that live here! We might see voles, mice and shrews, and we’ll teach you all about their habitat, diet and identifying features. Suitable for age 5 and over, it’s £5.50 each.

Family Gardening at Nene Nursery @ Nene Park –Come along and join us between 10.30am and 12pm to take part in a variety of seasonal gardening activities, suitable for all ages and abilities. Tools, gloves and refreshments provided (children to be accompanied). It’s £5.50 per child (adults and under 5s free). 

Sensory Crafts at Nene Nursery @ Nene Park –Join us at 1pm and enjoy spending an hour at our plant nursery in its autumnal glow and try out a craft or two. It’s free to attend and suitable for all ages (children to be accompanied).

Wildlife Boat Trip@ Nene Park Join our expert ranger on our electric passenger boat for a guided trip of Overton Lake and the River Nene, learning all about the wonderful wildlife we spot along the way! Suitable for ages 12 and over, it’s £15 per person.
