Ninja Warrior UK Milton Keynes

We kick started the summer holidays this year with a visit to Ninja Warrior UK Milton Keynes. The boys had been to the Leicester branch before so were really excited to go and see what Milton Keynes had to offer. I was super keen to go as either side of Ninja Warrior UK, is the UK’s largest ASDA store (Exciting I know) and an IKEA. So everyone was happy! Win, Win.

Ninja Warrior UK Milton Keynes is about an hour and a half from Peterborough and as I mentioned with other places to visit, it is easy to turn it into a day trip to Milton Keynes and visit other places too.

We paid for our tickets online a couple of days before we were due to go. We paid for 2 hour entry for both boys which was about £22.50 each and that was plenty of time for them. There are other offers currently running, and also 1 hour and 90 minute time slots too. We travelled with their cousins so it was a great opportunity for them all to be together and burn some much needed energy. Especially as so far all they had done this holiday is play their electronics. We needed to sign a waiver, which we completed online before we arrived, this helped to save time when we got there.

Going through reception was a bit of a breeze, thanks to pre-signing the waiver. I had also paid for the boys to have a pair of grip gloves. They both mentioned that last time when we visited Ninja Warrior UK Leicester, that they would have really liked to have them as their hands had begun hurting. As we didn’t need to buy grip socks (Which otherwise is compulsory) as we had some, I brought the gloves instead. The grip socks are compulsory especially if you want to explore the inflatable area. They are under £2.50 each and can be worn for future visits.

The lady at reception went through a very quick safety briefing and I mean it was quick, nothing like Leicester’s set up at all, where they had to stand and watch a video and then have their photo taken with a thumbs up after. After that they were able to run off and play. It did mean that they were able to head straight to play though, which they preferred.

So what is Ninja Warrior? Have you seen the hit ITV programme Ninja Warrior, where people take on an obstacle course to see who becomes the last Ninja standing to then go on to conquer Mt Midoriyama. A 22 meter rope climb which needs to be completed in under 45 seconds. (Don’t worry Mt Midoriyama doesn’t make an appearance at Ninja Warrior UK Milton Keynes). The other obstacles the contestants have to go through however, do!

Milton Keynes features the famous Warped Wall, in fact there are 2 of them! As well as lots of the other obstacles that could be seen in the TV Show.

We didn’t see the boys for pretty much the entire time. Every now and again they would come back for drinks and as soon as they had arrived, they were gone. One thing that I think Ninja Warrior UK Milton Keynes could do better is to offer jugs of squash or water at least. They already have the equipment, as apparently they are for parties, but they were not available to purchase, which was a shame!

The boys had a great time at Ninja Warrior UK, and it was lovely to see them all have fun, burn off their energy and spend time with their cousins.
