In a bid to try and get a little more organised I want to be able to kick start these weekly meal plans. I used to love writing them and sharing them so I figured it would at least help to share with others. One of the biggest changes in our meal plans is now my new weekly delivery of fruit and veg. Every week for £20 I receive a nice big box of fresh fruit and veg and it really helps me to ensure the boys get their 5 a day!

Our weekly meal plan
Monday
Cottage Pie – Has pretty much always been a winner with 2 out of 3 of the boys. Thankfully it is just Arthur not keen, so he has sandwiches as he has a hot meal at school. Our cottage pie is packed full of veg and the boys really enjoy eating it.
Tuesday
Chicken Wrap – Ever since I had my first Chicken Nugget wrap at my dad’s parents house I have been hooked. However I have since swapped nuggets to chicken strips and they have been an instant winner! We fill our wraps with veg sticks such as carrots, cucumbers, peppers as well as chuck in some tomatoes, mushrooms and of course, pickled onions!
Wednesday
Jacket Potato- None of the boys are really that keen on Jacket Potatoes which is really frustrating. They are one of the meals that once finished Mark and I question why we don’t have it more often. I love mine with cheese, beans and tuna however Mark hates warm tuna!
Thursday
Pasta Bake – Recently I decided to make a sausage pasta bake. I figured it was another way to eat pretty much our favourite foods; sausages and pasta. It took Mark some getting used too however it’s been a hit! When I make this I tend to make a smaller batch of Tuna Pasta Bake for lunches for Jack and I too.
Friday
Homemade Pizza – The boys are obsessed with Pizza and given a chance could most likely eat us out of house and home. To try and make things a bit healthier we decided to make our own. It is literally the most easiest thing to make and the boys really enjoy making it themselves! I do tend to make the dough during the day however thanks to now being a working mum! I am going to have to see if I can find another recipe for a quick base.
Saturday
Fishcakes! – Mark’s speciality is this! He loves the fishcakes his mum used to make when he was a kid and he now makes them for his kids. Sweet really! The fishcakes are huge! And he teams them up with plum tomatoes. Nothing else really, so probably not the “healthiest” however they are super tasty and really filling.
Sunday
It wouldn’t be a Sunday without our infamous Sunday dinner! Every week we have a roast and although this time of year we tend to stop having them because of Christmas. I am not quite ready to say goodbye yet.
