This recipe is so simple, quick and easy and there are only 2 ingredients to make it too. Suitable for vegetarians, vegans, dairy and egg intolerances and if using specific oats it can also suit other intolerances and allergies too. The main ingredients are Banana and Oats (I use porridge Oats) so it is also cheap too!

Ingredients

Banana and Oats! Bananas that look more like those ^ will be a lot easier to use. Not only are they going to be softer so easier to mash but they will also be sweeter too.

Step 1

2 ingredient

Peel the banana and break into several smaller pieces. Using a fork mash them all together.

2 ingredient

Add the oats into the banana. Start by adding a little at a time then mix them together. 2 ingredient

Keep mixing and adding the oats into the mixture. Eventually, you want to be able to mould them into either ball or biscuit shapes.

2 ingredient

Mould them into which ever shape you want. Fingers are great for younger children as they are easier to hold. I prefer to use ball shapes and make them into bites rather than biscuits/cookies.

2 ingredient

Pop them into a preheated oven (180c) for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

However, we need some more meal ideas to try and change things up. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm not ready for this, to have all my children in secondary school and no one left in primary. It's been a journey, but boy is he ready for his next adventure!

I hope everyone got the options they wanted!
