#blogtober 2016 – Day 1 Who are you

     The Mum Diaries      9 Comments

This year I am taking part in Blogtober16 with Hexmum. Every day there will be a different topic which I will post about. When I signed up I had visions of how I would be writing this all before the days they were due, so they were ready to publish. Reality is this, it is 9.43pm on Friday 30th September. Tomorrow is Day 1 and the one post I thought would be really easy and I am stumped. What do you want to know about me? I think of myself as pretty bog standard, nothing special, nothing great. But it is the first day, so I thought instead of paragraphs of writing, I will list a few facts.
Todays Day 1 topic is

“Who are you?”

Family – I am one of 5, I have 11 nieces and nephews (plus 1 more niece on the way) and have 3 boys.

Tattoos – I have 2. I have “Jack” written on my left ankle and a “=)” on my left ankle. I would love to get another 2 one for Oliver and one for Arthur.
Piercings – I have both ears pierced but rarely wear earrings. I want my nose re-pierced and my lip.
Work – I don’t work I am a “Stay at home mum” I volunteer for my local cloth nappy library too.
Hair length – My hair falls to my bum! I don’t think many people know that as it is pretty much up in a messy bun.
Bad Habits – I bite my nails! I wish I could stop but I can’t. I would love some pointers in how to stop though!
Hobby – Other than my blog and my BuJo (Bullet Journal) I don’t really have any.
Loves – Candles, Stationary, Coffee and Music!
Education- I have a NVQ Level 3 in childcare.
Song – At the moment my favourite is song is “ironic” but this version

Nice to meet you, I bet you have some great family parties. I was from a big family and it’s the parties I remember the most. I hope to get to know you better during #Blogtober16. BTW I only found out about it yesterday and wrote my post this morning at 8a.m. 🙂

Hi and welcome to #Blogtober16, so glad you are joining in, I love finding out more about people and no-one is bog standard! I love the matching outfits for the boys, and I haven’t seen that version of ironic, but I agree that is brilliant, I do love a bit of James Corden Late Late show, regarding biting nails, I have no solutions as I am a picker. A stay at home mum is far harder than any job, I used to go to work for a rest!

However, we need some more meal ideas to try and change things up. Do you have any suggestions?
