Mamma Mia! Singing Workshop @  Nene Valley Community Centre, PE2 9RE – 9.30am-12.30pm – Adults £20, Child £10, Current Choir member £10 – Do you love singing? Do you love Mamma Mia? Then this is the workshop for you!
From age 8 upwards (all under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also joining in with the workshop).

A story of tiredness, over-tiredness , wonder and waking up.

Land of Nod explores the struggle of bed time and the bliss of finally falling into slumber. Join us as we fold into sleep and explore a dream world, created especially for you. –

Peterborough Woodcraft Folk Activity Day @  Green Backyard, Oundle Road, PE2 8AT – 12pm-4pm – FREE – Join us at the Green Backyard for an afternoon of FREE activities to kick start your half-term. Gather a group for team-building challenges, make some nature art, and use our platform to share those causes close to your heart. Chill out with our recycled garden games and find out more about our new groups in Peterborough.

Activities will offer you a taster of those on offer at our Pioneer (9-12 years) and Venturer (13-16 years) groups, though some will be suitable for younger ages for any little siblings. Adults are asked to stick around and take part in our co-operative activities too.

The Green Backyard Conker Championships @  The Green Backyard, PE2 8AT – 12pm-3pm – Back to do battle for another year, the GBY is hosting its annual conker championships!

Diwali Festival @ Cathedral Square – 11.30am-4.30pm – Events include energetic and colourful performances from the Gujarati, Tamal, Telugu, Kannada, Nepali and Bengali communities. These include a wide range of classical dance and song throughout the morning and evening.

Code Club, Scratch for beginners @ Central Library – 1.30pm-2.45pm – FREE –  Young coders (recommended ages 7-11) learn to program simple games and animations using the visual programming language Scratch. Get lost in space, have a chat with your computer and build your own racing game! -Places are limited and PRE BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

Halloween, Squigglers Saturday @  Tesco Community Room – 2pm-4pm – Explore. Create. Enjoy. Each session at Little Squigglers children are immersed in activities based around a familiar theme and often linked with stories and rhymes.

This week is Halloween! 5 messy, sensory play activities, 3 Arts and Crafts, story and snack! Parents/carers work alongside their child exploring lots of messy things like goo, gloop and gunge creating fantastic works of art and, most importantly, enjoying being creative together.

Fly into space with bubbleprint planets and glittery rockets or take a journey to the farm with tractor wheel prints and feathered hens! What happens when you push your hand really hard into gloop? Will the red sparkly water pass through the sieve? –
