We’re going on a bear hunt @ Discovery Den, Ferry Meadows – 10.30am and 1.30pm – £4 per person – Bring your own teddy bear and join us on a bear hunt. Goldilocks & the Three Bears @ Key Theatre – 2pm, 4pm and 6pm – £32 family, £10 per person and £7.50 under 25’s – Northern Ballet’s short ballets for small people are not to be missed. With hugely successful Cbeebies adaptations including the Ugly Ducking and Tortoise and the Hare they are back with Goldilocks and the three bears. Goldilocks is a little girl who is always on the look out for an adventure her curiosity leads her to a house of surprises.

Bug Hunt @ Ferry Meadows – 10.30am and 1.30pm – Free (suggested donation of £2) – Children must be accompanies by an adult (max of 3 children per adult) adults do not need to book a place – Join the team to have a look for minibeasts in their own habitat. Suitable for 5 years + – Will be walking in the woods which may not be suitable for all pushchairs or wheelchairs
