Sshh Don’t wake Dad
You know when you find a game and you just know it will hit all the right buttons? Sshh Don’t wake Dad is one of those games for us! A new electronic board game from the lovely Drumond Park. It is aimed at 5+ but like with some games younger players can play with a little help. Arthur (4) loved the game and got just as much excitement and fun out of it as Jack(8) and Oliver (6).
The game is based on the main character “Dad” who is snoring away in his bed. Snoring really LOUDLY! The boys were given the same amount of cards and they each took it in turns to spin the spinner. We play youngest goes first and it works well for us. The Idea of the game is players must find their way around the board, pass the obstacles and more importantly pass Dad to try and get some treats. But you need tread carefully because if you don’t Dad will wake up!!
The kitchen is where the treats are kept a lovely slice of chocolate cake and the first to reach it without disturbing Dad wins the game. Sounds easy right? Be careful of the howling cat, Tinkling bell and hooting owl!
The game has an RRP of £24.99 and the list of stockists can be found here http://www.drumondpark.com/
