Peppa Pig Interactive Play Mat £19.99
Suitable for children aged 3+
Peppa Pig is a familiar face in our house. Currently it is Arthur and sometimes Oliver (although he won’t admit it) who likes to watch Peppa, George and Dinosaur on tele. When the opportunity came up to review the Peppa Pig Interactive Play Mat I said yes. I figured Arthur would really like it and he could get so many benefits out of using one.
The Peppa Pig Interactive Play Mat is specially designed to encourage children to be active whilst playing! Which for something electronic based is important to us. The Play Mat features pretty much all the main characters including Suzie Sheep, Zoe Zebra and Danny Dog! With 4 different modes there was plenty to keep Arthur (and Oliver) entertained even Jack (8), got involved!
Arthur’s favourite mode was “Sing along”. There are 3 songs with the “Bing Bong Song” being one of them. By the end of the first couple of hours if you didn’t know the words of the songs you will!
Where is? Is also a pretty great mode to play. Peppa pig asks you to find either her friends or a specific coloured puddle. Which is great to help encourage and develop colour recognition something Arthur could do with a little more focus with.
Number mode encourages children to touch certain numbers which Peppa again calls out. Arthur can count to 5 quite easily but has not long recently started to show interest in recognising the numbers. The mode is great at encouraging recognition and developing those skills which of course will help him as he develops.
