Forget fidget spinners or cubes and say hello to MOKURU. The latest soon to be craze from Japan.
What is MOKURU
Japenese designer Masakazu Node created what is dubbed to be the next craze. MOKURU is a unique and inventive wooden desk toy which I easy to flip, roll and make tricks with. Created using quality beech wood and rubber (for the ends) its simple designs works really well to create hours of play. Simply flick, roll or push it whilst it is in the upright position to see it roll.
The tricks can be anything from the “Basic- Triangle/Square” to the more complicated “Expert -Air Trapeze”. Now, if your friends have one you can play with each other too!
MOKURU is the new black or as the Japanese say, Genbu. Also available in
- green (Matcha),
- orange, (Kirin)
- white (Byakko),
- red (Suzaku),
- blue (Seiryu) and
- yellow (Inazuma)!
It is also the perfect size to fit right into your pocket too so you can take it anywhere. Work, school, friend’s houses, literally anywhere! Suitable for all ages and can be enjoyed by anyone!
What we think
We were very lucky to be given one to play with before it’s release date and both Jack and Oliver have had tonnes of play. Don’t get me wrong its not easy the first few tries and it does take a little skill but they enjoyed it.
