I was recently asked if we would like to review a couple of tops from the new collection at Me&i. I of course said yes! Since learning about the company last year I had been oogling over their designs.
Who are Me&i?
Me&i are a Scandinavian clothing company which are 100% colourful and responsibly made. They use sustainable material which ensures the clothes retain their fit wash after wash.
The clothing is made in Portugal and Turkey at small local factories enduring the clothes are of highest quality and precision. All their clothing is OEKO-TEX certified. Which basically means that the clothing does not contain any hazardous substances which maybe harmful to the skin and health. To become certified the materials are checked for colour fastness, pH value, formaldehyde, hevy metals, acrylamines, pesticides and herbicides, flame retardants, phthalates, volatile organic compounds and biocides (a lot of stuff!). All their clothing (except Jeans, Canvas trousers and socks) meet the requirements for OEKO-TEX class 1 which means it is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin. The majority of their clothing is OEKO-TEX certified.
The childrens clothes often feature the colours orange, brown, turquoise and yellow as it’s “The modern retro look” Me&i pride themselves on creating clothing which children love wearing! especially if they chose it themselves. I thought I would see if there was any clothing the boys would choose.

What we chose from Me&i
The boys and I sat together browsing through their online catalogue. I normally buy their clothes (without much input from them) but recently they have all been showing an interest in what they wear. Instantly Jack chose the soccer top and shortly after Oliver and Arthur announced they would like the dog tops. It took awhile for the boys to finally settle on which they would like. There are so many funky designs they could choose from. Within a few days they arrived and we put them on straight away!
What we think?
When you take the tops out of the packaging you can instantly feel just how soft they are.
The clothes are great quality and you can tell as soon as you feel them. But the best thing about Me&i is not only do they sell online but also via consultants so you can get a real feel for the clothes which sets is apart from other online stores.
