Nothing beats the bond between a mother and her child! When my sister in law Nichola found out she was pregnant after a miscarriage it was important for her to create a bond.
In Mexico there is a tradition where the mother wears a necklace with a little chime attached. A small little shake of the pendant releases the soft chime. It helps to bring inner calm and harmony to both mum and baby. The Bola Chime Necklace from Nibbling was created after owner and creator Emily Sunderland Sutter wanted to recreate the necklace for family and friends.
Bola Chime Necklace from Nibbling
When Nibbling got in touch asking if Nichola would like to review the necklace she said yes. Not only did they look lovely but the sentiment behind the necklaces was really meaningful.
When the necklace arrived it came in box with a small pouch to store the necklace in. It looked stunning! The chain measured roughly 100cm so was a really lovely size, Unfortunately within a few weeks of owning the necklace it became trapped when putting her son in a trolley. It was quick to fix and just had to take a couple of the links out the chain, but it has of course shortened it.
The chime is such a relaxing noise and when worn it would bounce around on top of the bump. Attached to the necklace was also a little grey coloured tassle and a small charm.
The Bola Chime Necklace would make a really gift for any expectant mum and what’s more it is available in a choice of colours. Fuchsia/Moonstone, Blue/Onyx, Emerald/Aqua, White/Small Star, Light Pink/Pink Garnet (rose gold bola ball) and Grey/Moonstone. Nichola chose to receive the Grey/Moonstone necklace and when it arrived was super impressed.
*We were gifted the necklace in exchange for the review
