The Alternative Dad’s Gift Guide

Dad’s come in all shapes and sizes so it makes sense that they also enjoy different activities. Around Father’s Day each year there are plenty of guides all giving you ideas on what to buy. Socks, Slippers, golf set, football stuff the list is pretty endless. But what do you buy for the alternative dad’s you know the ones who do not conform to the norm! The dad’s who love music, listen to heavy metal but are still dad’s? Here is my alternative dads gift guide that I think they would enjoy it! I know my hubby does!

If you have a dad who loves music (and what alternative dad doesn’t it?) then a record player which can also play MP3 is a must have! The GPO Stylo II is a great budget range record player for under £50! It is light and comes in a range of colours personally this black and the cobalt are my favourite ones.

To make sure there is music wherever he may go this Kreafunk ToCharge power bank is ideal! With a built in 6000MaH lithium battery and a built in chip to prevent over charge. It will sure be hit! It can be used to charge apple, android, mp3, tablets etc and comes with a multi cable.

 

“A Romp of Otters” mug Perkins & Morley £15

I loved the series of mugs from Perkins & Morley! Everyone loves a good cup of tea or coffee and to be honest I found the wording ” A Romp of Otters” quite funny. Immature I know! I also loved one of their other mugs ” A Murder of Crows” Perkins & Morley have quite a few items using the collective names of different animals. If mugs are not your thing then you can choose notebooks, coasters, tea towels, clocks and cards!

I love these! and I think ANY dad would too. These Kreafunk wireless headphones also houses a built in microphone. Connecting to any Bluetooth device you can listen to music or answer calls on the go. There is a control panel which has a volume, skip track, play , pause and you can also answer or end phone calls too. There is up to 14 hours of playback too!!

Having your children make your gifts has to be one of the best presents you’ll ever receive. Trunkaroo can be a subscription service or you can buy as a standalone gift.
