Autumn/Winter2018 at Queensgate Shopping Centre #AutumnAtQueensgate

#Qblogger Challenge

Last week I was invited to Queensgate Shopping Centre for another #Qblogger Challenge. The event started at Carluccio’s a lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of the City Centre. It was a really lovely opportunity for me to catch up with some other local bloggers and taste some of the lovely dishes, such as Chicken wrapped in Palm Ham. I even braved it and tried a picked walnut, not entirely sure whether I actually like it or not, but it wasn’t too bad. During our meet and greet we were given the opportunity to open our envelopes which contained our challenge.

I love the #Qblogger challenges as it takes me outside my comfort zone, but in a good way. Last years challenge proved a little difficult at first but I ended the evening with a great selection (which is still used daily). This years challenge was to find 5 pieces from 3 shops. I was given New Look, Schuh and Primark all within Queensgate Shopping Centre. There wasn’t a price limit and we were given pretty much free reign but it had to be from the Autumn/Winter range. I must admit up until this point I had never stepped foot in Schuh and I am not entirely sure why. However my 3 shop choices suited me and I very quickly realised that I am a very shoe orientated person.

New Look

Teaming up with Natasha from Mummy and Moose we said our goodbyes at Carluccios. We were going to ace this and we were going to have fun trying! Our first shop was New Look, it was on both of our lists so seemed an obvious first stop. New Look have such a lovely range of clothes this year, but like with most high street shops if you are plus size then the chances are most of the ranges are online. New look do have a curves range but it is limited! Other than the awesome “Friends” logo top I saw and loved there wasn’t much clothing wise that I liked. However the handbag below grabbed my attention as for me it sparked autumnal with the colours.

Another item I found inside New Look were these boots. At £25.99 I thought they would be great for an Autumn/Winter look.

When it comes to Autumn/Winter I love nothing more than snuggling in front of the tv in my PJs. Primark has a great range of loungewear and pyjamas that I was literally spoilt for choice. With their new sizes they now go up to a 24 too! So I had literally no worries about falling in love with an item to realise they don’t have my size.

I am such a kid at heart! So these Adventure Time and Toy Story lounge bottoms are going at the top of my Christmas wishlist!

If you read my post last week from my John Lewis Home Design event you will know that the cheetahs are all in at the moment. When I spotted this set of PJs I couldn’t help but think of the cute home range.

Another item that is a must have for anyone during the colder seasons are, of course, slippers!

Schuh surprised me. They stock pretty much all my favourite brands of footwear, from Rocket Dog and UGGs to Dr Martens and Converse and even Sketchers. I stepped inside the store and was immediately drawn to this pair of Rocket Dog Boots. They look incredibly comfortable and would keep you warm on autumn walks.

Win with Queensgate

Queensgate Shopping Centre at the moment are running a giveaway on their Instagram page (See below). I am not affiliated with the giveaway and have nothing to do with it. But I figured it would be pretty awesome for one of you to win and then you can buy your own Autumn/Winter favs!

*I was given a £25 gift card in exchange for the post*

Dude, you did my favourite things. Eating at Carluccio’s and shopping at New Look! That’s my dream weekend right now haha. Loving all the cosy items from Primark – but god, they do malt! I bought some cosy sock/slipper hybrids from there and there’s fluff everywhere on the carpets now haha.
