It is not very often Mark and I both have the opportunity to spend the day together. Especially so close to our wedding anniversary! We were both invited to Middleton’s Steakhouse and Grill to try their new spring menu. The first time we visited Middleton’s was when they had first opened back in September.
I have been back, way too many times to remember thanks to the pretty awesome £10 3 course meal deal! However, Mark hasn’t and like I said we both had time together. Without kids!
We just so happened to arrive a little earlier than our 12pm booking. They didn’t seem to mind and we were shown to our seats. I wasn’t sure who it was (he was wearing a suit?) I assume the manager but he didn’t introduce himself. We were then seated and our server introduced himself to us and took our drink order. He was really lovely and attentive! He kept checking back on us to make sure everything was okay, which was really lovely!
Spring Menu
It had been awhile since I last looked at the menu and on the face of it, I couldn’t see any recognisable changes. Mark and I are both pretty boring when it comes to dining out and looking over at my last review, we both ordered the same meals.
As usual, we went for Sticky ribs as our starter! We weren’t disappointed in the stickiness either!
Our Mains
As soon as we ate the last piece of rib, our main dinners arrived at our table. Literally straight away! There wasn’t even enough time to clear the table. The waiter who brought us our mains (not our original server) apologised for the starter plate being there, I don’t think he was aware we had only just finished.
Mark ordered the 10oz Sirloin steak.
He asked for Medium and was happy with the steak that was brought out to him.
I, on the other hand, ordered a Bacon and Cheese steak burger. It was everything I had expected it to be!
Neither Mark or I fancied desserts, we were more than satisfied with our meals and they tasted delicious.
*We were given a voucher for our meals*
