Living Arrows 2/52 – Capturing childhood memories

I am joining in with Donna’s weekly link up called The Living Arrows. Donna blogs at What the Red Head said. The idea is to post a photo that captures a moment of childhood.
We are starting a little late so starting on week 2!

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran

This week I am uploading 3 photos.
The first photo is of Jack and Oliver reading. Oliver started school in September and loves going but he misses spending time with Jack. Jack loves having Oliver in his school. These 2 have a love hate relationship and although 90% of the time they argue sometimes they don’t. When they don’t argue they help each other. Jack this week helped me by listening to Oliver read. After which he wrote in his reading journal too.
This photo melts my heart. It isn’t often that all 3 will play lovely together. For Christmas Oliver received a bunch of Teenage mutant Ninja Turtle toys (fast becoming his all time favourite show!) and was happy to have both of his brothers play with him. It is probably worth noting that not long after this photo they stopped playing and started arguing! Peace only lasted a few minutes!
Arthur received a Chad Valley Reading, Writing and Spelling pack for Christmas. Ill be honest and I thought he may be a tad too little for it yet. He isn’t. He absolutely loved practising his letters and his handwriting is much neater than his 7 year old brothers!

Lovely that you managed to capture them playing together – they all look completely engrossed! I’m also joining in with Living Arrows this year – I’m so excited to have something to look back on at the end of the year.
