welcome – #ElfotShelf16 – December 1st

Every family has their little traditions ours is Buddy and Snowflake. We welcome them to our home every year and it is a tradition the boys love. Buddy and Snowflake are our elves who are sent from Santa. Some days they leave little presents others they get into a little mischief. On the first day of their return they always bring either a North Pole Breakfast or Dinner. This year is no different! If you are unfamiliar with Elf on the Shelf read my previous post here.

North Pole Breakfast/Dinner

Last year we had a North Pole Dinner as Jack and Oliver were at school and playschool. It also meant that I had a bit longer to prepare. Pintrest is great for ideas on what to do!

We had Snowman sandwiches, crackers and chocolate!
The year before we did dinner too, but it doesn’t look as appealing.

This year I decided to do a north pole breakfast. Buddy and Snowflake brought the boys some Christmas tree shaped crumpets, banana milkshake, candy cane and Lucky Charm bar. The boys when they came downstairs were all so excited. The elves also brought each of the boys advent calenders too! Jack asked me a couple of days ago if he had one and became upset when I said he didn’t. His face this morning though made up for that!
Need some ideas on what your elves can get up to?
