I have recently been invited to take part in “The Mummy Tag” thank you Days in bed
1. Are you a Stay at Home Mum or a Working Mum?
I am a stay at home mum. Recently I got a job working evenings but I recently left, the money I was earning was tiny compared to what I was missing at home. I am luckily that we can just about manage on 1 income although we have to budget to make it work.
2. Would you have it any other way?
Ideally I would find work that I can do during the day whilst the boys are at school but these jobs are so hard to come by.
3. Do you co-sleep?
We did co-sleep and still do kind of. do Arthur joins us every night around 1am, and he climbs in between us and sleeps.
4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?
I have lots Cloth nappies and wipes is probably our main one. I am such an advocate on using them, I volunteer my time in promoting them in my local city. Baby carrier also helped us out lots we sold our pushchair when Arthur was 1 relying on our carrier.
5. How many kids do you plan on having?
If I had my way I would be rivalling The Radford Family. We currently have 3 boys and would like another in a few years.
6. Date nights? How often do you have them?
Finding someone to look after all 3 at the same time can be tricky. We have maybe a couple of nights a year where Grandparents or their Aunty will have them overnight. We do like to try and have a date night at home at least once a month.
7. Your child’s favourite show?
Jack loves Lego Ninjago! Oliver likes Peppa Pig and Arthur love Bing Bunny!
8. Name one thing you brought before you had the baby and never ended up using?
Nothing, we didn’t buy much for Arthur as we learnt from the older 2.
9. Your child’s favourite food?
Jack likes Spaghetti Bolognaise, Oliver likes Pizza and Arthur loves Pasta!
10. How many cars does your family have?
One, we recently upgraded to a people carrier and LOVE it!
11. Weight gain, before pregnancy, during, after and now?
I have gained loads 🙁 enough said!
12. Dream holiday with your kids?
My dream holiday would be to take Sylvia to visit my sister and my 6 nieces and nephews in New Zealand. One day we will do this.
13. Dream holiday without your kids?
My ultimate dream holiday would be to travel America! Route 66. I would also love to visit relatives in Australia and visit Disney World.
14. How has your life changed since having kids?
Other than have some little person totally dependant on me, and how I pretty much revolve my life around them it has changed loads. I have recently starting to do more me things now they are slightly older. I am looking forward to the next stage!
15. Finish the sentence “It makes heart melt when…”
I see all 3 of the boys play together.
16. Where do you shop for your kids?
Hmm I have no particular shop. I try to shop small from work at home mums and love organic clothing such as Frugi. I love Next,H&M and recently seen some serious cool designs in George.
Boys clothes are so hard to find, as they are all samey samey and I love bright colours, and monos.
17. Favourite make-up and skincare products?
I don’t have a particular make-up must have to be honest I am still learning. I have only recently had the opportunities to wear as I have some extra time.LUSH is my favourite shop and my skincare products are Coalface, Mask of Magnaminty, Oatifix face mask and Enzyimon.
18. Huggies or Pampers?
yuck! Neither. I use Cloth nappies. After seeing what is in a disposable nappy, the smell and the overall yuckiness I would never use them again. I can see the appeal to families and not totally anti disposable. but for me, never!
19. Have you always wanted kids?
Yes, I trained as a Nursery Nurse pre children.
20. Best part of being a mum?
