#Blogtober17 – Day 13 – Movies

I have fond memories of Christmas Day and settling down to watch Oliver! It was one of my favourite movies and always shown Christmas Day. For the past couple of years however, they seemed to have changed the schedule and it is no longer shown. But that’s okay, because for the past couple of years the boys, Mark and I have settled down to watch a book adaptation. The Gruffalo, Stick Man, Room on the Broom, Revolting Rhymes and this year is The Highway Rat. I am really looking forward to watching it having never read the book. But seeing as it is written by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler I already know I will love it!

Last Cinema Trip

My last cinema trip was with my mum and 2 sisters to see Beauty and The Beast. It was my mums birthday and she wanted some girl time with us, so we cinema and had a Chinese. I had high hopes for the movie and yes, I enjoyed it. I am a big fan of Angela Lansbury (Murder she wrote, Bedknobs and Broomsticks) so for me it just wasn’t Beauty and The Beast without her. I can go as far and say Angela Lansbury is probably my favourite actress of all time! She is 91 (turns 92 on 16th October) and still making movies! She is currently filming Mary Poppins Returns.

Do you have a favourite Movie? or Actor/actress?
